The newer one is much faster so it will be less Had hoped to use it for HRD and digital modes. The old Dell I picked up at the Hamvention is a real slug (slow).

I doubt this would be helpful but it shows how to use the accessory If you're using the audio in/out on the rig instead of the CI/VĬonnectors, then the settings would be completely different. I still think it's just a setting I am overlooking somewhere. Let me know if you remember what you did. Thanks for the reply, I will keep plugging away at it. I can receive CW signals, it just won't work on transmitting.
I am using the mike connection for signal out. The only only connection on the 756 is for audio and connects via speaker jack. **also, a new self-help group dedicated to your cat's health: (just launched) Group on Groups.io: (recently launched, growing slowly) Maybe this is normal, but like I said before, when I use the straight key or bug, the radio screen and tuner display both show a signal going out. The screen on the transceiver and my tuner, however, does not show anything going out. When I try to send a CW signal with the keyboard, the computer screen shows it being sent. >I would like to add a comment to my previous email. I have read the manual front to back 3 or 4 times and can't find anything that might work. I don't think the problem is in the interface, I think it might be a setting on the radio itself. I used to have the SignaLink connected to my Kenwood 440 and didn't have any problems with it at all on any digital mode. On all the other modes like PSK31, FT8 and RTTY there is no problem at all getting signals out. I can key my straight key or bug and there is no problem at all. When I try to transmit, it keys the radio and SignaLink, but there is no power going out of the radio.
The software program I am using is Fldigi 4.1.04.01. I have an Icom 756Pro (not II or III) and am trying to get it to transmit CW signals using a keyboard and SignaLLink interface. I have never posted anything on here before, but I have what is probably a simple problem that I can not figure it out. Hi, my name is Steve and I am new to this group.
